Averon Guest House (couple trip)

Our stay was improved by our host who entertained us by playing guitar and singing old scottish songs in a lovely and cozy atmosphere. Thank you Alan for the beautiful experience!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice and everything freshly prepared. In the evening we enjoyed the live Scottish music — it was such a unique and heartwarming experience, accompanied by beautiful videos of Scotland. Unfortunately lots of spiders and did not seem clean at all. The shared bathroom is extremely small. Owner was only nice on our way out when he asked for a review mentioning his music. Music was okay, but it’d be nicer if the rooms were cleaner.

A very nice place. We definitely recommend it. We were a family of four visiting Edinburgh for both business and sightseeing. The advantages include friendly and welcoming staff, free parking, a very good location close to the city center, and breakfasts that were included in the price of our stay. We were very satisfied with our stay here.

We had such a great stay at this guest house! One of the highlights was the host singing traditional Scottish songs in the evening—such a cool and unexpected experience. They also played short videos alont with the songs and sharing fun facts and stories about Scotland, which really added to the vibe.
