What makes it 70% Kids-Friendly: Kids join tours free, mascot and coaching packages exist and family match tickets are priced fairly, but loud crowds, steep seating and few hands-on exhibits may tire or scare some under-12s.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A 90-minute stadium tour plus museum visit and time in the club store fits into a half-day without rushing kids.
Family Stadium Tour Voucher:
Join a 90-minute behind-the-scenes tour of dressing rooms, players’ tunnel and pitch.
Tip: Buy the £30 family voucher (2 adults + 2 kids) online to save and guarantee spots.
Club Museum Visit:
Discover Hearts’ history through photos, trophies and interactive displays.
Tip: Visit Thu–Sat 10:00–16:00 or Sun 10:00–14:00; closed on matchdays.
Match-Day Experience:
Watch a Scottish Premiership match from the stands in a lively atmosphere.
Tip: Book Category B seats (~£25 adult, £18 child) ahead and arrive 30 minutes before kick-off.
Mascot Package:
Kids aged 5–12 escort players onto the pitch and get full kit and photos.
Tip: Reserve early (£190 per child) and bring a camera for action shots.

I’ve been to stadiums around the world, this is by far the greatest atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. You are so close to the pitch, and the fans are incredible. Beats any 100,000 capacity stadium.

I had a great first experience in Edinburgh, made even better by the place we stayed. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything we need. However, it was not mentioned in advance that the room had no window, which was a drawback. The staff were polite and helpful

Great ground with plenty of food and drink options. A great day out for the entire family

If you want to understand why Scottish Football means do much to its supporters, Tynecastle Park is the place. Tynecastle and Hearts are the heartbeat of this area of Edinburgh. The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful. The food is just ok, and they did not offer adult beverages when we were there for the friendly with Spurs. The team shop has everything and the prices are decent.
During Christmas and Easter tours, each adult ticket admits one child free and includes fun mascot hunts and puzzles.
