While the place is nice and has a large amount of machines, it doesnt offer much variety with the machines, wouldnt recommend for people who are very serious about the gym

The university may need to consider stop taking new members. The amount of people exercising after 16:00 is ridiculously excessive. The equipment and general space just isn’t enough. Save yourself a headache and just go to a pure gym or the gym. I will be stopping my membership.

Fantastic indoor climbing and great gym. Staff super friendly. I will definitely go back in my next visit to Edinburgh!

This gym is a really fantastic gym, a real example of why the gym should be. The staff here are fantastic and the facilities are out of this world, we were a guest of a hotel nearby and we got day passes, which gave us a chance to do spin, the Les Mills RPM.

through the 7 years i have trained here they have done several "rennovations" - always for the worst - removing fantastic and popular pieces of equipment for far inferior over-engineered (and more expensive) technogym alternatives that always feel worst than what they replace.
Visit during university term breaks (July–August) for quieter courts and gym floors.
