What makes it 77% Baby-Friendly: Level paths suit prams and on-site baby-change units aid care, yet there is no dedicated nursing room and little shade, so feeding or rain cover needs extra planning.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Gives time for a gentle stroll, playground play, and rests without overtiring your baby.
Pram-friendly stroll:
Follow the wide, level paths around the park for easy pushchair access.
Tip: Bring a raincover for the pram on wet days.
Toddler play area:
Let your baby enjoy bucket-seat swings and small slides in the toddler zone.
Tip: Spread a blanket nearby to supervise comfortably.
Use baby-changing facilities:
Visit the new public toilet block with family cubicles and baby-change units.
Tip: Check open hours (10 am–6 pm) and pack spare diapers.
Picnic by playground:
Set up a picnic near benches and the drinking fountain close to the play areas.
Tip: Bring reusable cups to refill at the water fountain.

Great park. I stay nearby to this park. Went for a tennis session here last Saturday at the Leith Links Tennis Park. It's a great place to play tennis. Very cheap rate, only 1£ per hour. Booking is very easy. There are 3 courts. Highly recommended...

It's a huge park with many services: tennis court, playground for kids, a cafe, a market (open on Sundays), toilets and much more! It's great to have a picnic, do some exercise, take a walk with your dog or enjoy a nice family evening. It's open all the time, just remember to pick up all your rubbish.

Great place for recreation! Green open space with tennis court and a couple of newly built playgrounds for children and also gardening sectors. Very alive and yet peaceful atmosphere here. Such a lovely park! Very popular indeed.

This is a lovely park/grass area to walk and hang out with friends. Obviously very quiet right now but will be a great place to meet when lockdown is over. Lots of places to sit and there are shops and cafes surrounding as well. Beautiful.
In summer, pack a hat, sunscreen and check if toilets stay open later. In autumn or winter, use a waterproof pram cover and warm layers; paths may be muddy. In spring, visit on Sundays for free market workshops and nature hunts.
