We went on the ferry that went under the Forth Road and Rail bridges. Our group had a creamed tea on board the ferry which was delicious. There was a man telling us about the site's as we sailed.

This is a stunning bridge, worthy of a visit to photograph. Parking is a little tricky to get the best spot, and the free car park they have shuts at 9pm and locks you in, charging you to exit so don’t get caught out.

Stunning at Sunset! We visited the Forth Bridge at sunset and it was absolutely breathtaking. The iconic structure looked incredible as the sun dipped behind it, casting golden light over the water. A masterpiece of engineering and a perfect photo opportunity. A peaceful, scenic spot to take in one of Edinburgh’s most famous landmarks — highly recommended, especially in the evening!

Excellent views and worth the visit. This was the north queensferry side and not the Edinburgh side. It was quiet and roads are a bit narrow. Not very easy to find parking if you are visiting during busy time.

Great steel. But as a tourist there may be something more I want to see in the little town city. Don’t get me wrong I am quite enjoy to stay here although the wind. Bit high speed for me. Nice to have a half day walk and get a good meal.

When is the best time to visit Forth Bridge (Edinburgh, United Kingdom)?

Summer offers longest daylight but can be windy on viewpoints; spring and autumn bring softer light and fewer crowds. Avoid winter storms when boat tours may be canceled.
