Crumlin Gaol is a fascinating place to visit with a lot of history, and the experience is very informative throughout. The self-guided tour is well laid out and easy to follow, with plenty of detail that really brings the past to life. The only downside was the lack of food and drink options on the day we visited. A really fascinating insight into a famous Belfast jail. Loads of information about the jail's history and the inmates that were imprisoned there. A very easy to follow route around the prison with loads of information boards.

Pleasantly surprised! Did the self guided tour, there wasn’t many other people there on a rainy Wednesday. It was very informative and gave haunted house vibes at times, a very immersive experience. Took around 1 1/2 hours to walk through and listen to the informative videos. Very friendly staff.

What a great experience. Really well done being interactive and thoughtful with a good mix of technology integrated into the actual spaces. Although the entire space is not accessible to you, they make good use of the example spaces they created.
