The Palms, Kamala Beach (couple trip)

I paid 20k baht for two nights in deluxe room. It was spacious and had all the amenities, including a washing machine, toaster and Nespresso machine. It also had its private roof with a jacuzzi with sea view. But the suit needs heavy renovation. It's livable and I wouldn't mind renting again if it was cheaper. Overall, rent if only you need the location and the list of features I said.

Our first time holidaying in Phuket. We had a 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment. Plenty of room, great air-conditioning and always clean. Centrally located with various restaurants around. 200 metres from the beach. 50 minutes from other sites around the island. Hotel restaurant was very popular. Prices and food good .

You might not recognize the hotel from far distance as usual hotels because it has no elevation, locates beside narrow road and a restaurant hides it. Just a simple budget hotel hides inside a restaurant with limited facilities like a gym, restaurant and a swimming pool. There is not even a hotel main entrance. The staff are helpless and unfriendly. The gym equipment is dirty and smelly. Very dusty inside the rooms, especially the floors. Bath towels are dirty and smelly. Very nice hotel with huge pools, adults and kids. Big rooms with balconies. Room service on request. Refrigerator in the room. What I didn't like, bed mattress is very firm. Staff are friendly and speaks English. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to Kamala beach. A lot of restaurants around, 7 eleven store open 24h. I would come back again
