Pamookkoo (solo trip)

The hotel offers great attractions, especially the water facilities for kids – they are really fun and well-designed. However, the floor in the pool area is very slippery, so it’s important to be careful to avoid falls. The food at the restaurant is delicious and enjoyable.

Loved the location, Kata beach. Compared to Patong, this is a good location for families. We had a blast here with our 5 year old. Rooms cleanliness was a bit of a hit & miss. Pamookoo was fantastic, we spent 10days here at the end of June early July and had a great time. Things we liked: - We had a room with a bunk bed for the kids and a double bed for us. It was a great use of space. - Slides: Our kids 8 and 10 loved the slides in the pool. - Massages: My husband and I both had massages by Nit near the pool area and this was fantastic. Nice resort, rooms are comfortable and decent size, air conditioning was good, towels replaced and beds made, rooms cleaned every day. Amazing water park/pool for adults and kids, poolside bar/food options. Only downside was location is a bit out of the way of most tourist things, plus buffet breakfast was pretty ordinary. Food was mostly bland and hot food was cold.

We, especially our kids, ha a wonderful stay at the resort. The staff were very friendly, especially Rai, we played with our kids and even postponed her day off to have another day with our kids.
