Hotel COCO Phuket Bangtao Beach (solo trip)

Currently checked into by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Phuket — and honestly, maybe ever. The room smells aggressively of mold and sewage. After just 30 minutes inside with the windows closed, my entire face started itching and my breathing felt noticeably restricted. I had a wonderful experience during stay here. All the staff are lovely and willing to help. The hotel has a pleasant, lush atmosphere and is well-organized. The surrounding conveniences are complete. To be honest, worth the price paid. I definitely stay here again if there’s any chance visiting Phuket again.

The rooms with the private pool are definitely worth it. The room was clean and large with a full kitchen. This hotel is a great value for the cost. I appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was delicious. There's a 7/11 nearby which is always a plus. If I stay in Bangtao again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel. Very clean, great service and great value for money. Room has a full sized fridge/freezer which was a total lifesaver. Bit far away from the main attractions in Phuket but if you’re up for a nice 30-40 minute bike ride it’s perfect. The people here are really friendly. There is a lot of renovation happening in the hotel - I feel like it'll be a really good hotel in a year or so. The pool is very nice.
