What makes it 70% Kids-Friendly: Children can taste sweets, watch buskers and try a Ferris wheel but there is no playground, toilets cost 5 THB and tight aisles get hot after dark, so parents must supervise closely.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time to sample snacks, explore stalls, ride the Ferris wheel, and let kids rest.
Sample kid-friendly street snacks:
Try mini pad thai, fish cakes and satay skewers in small portions.
Tip: Order 1–2 portions per child and share to taste more varieties.
Taste coconut-shell ice cream:
Scoop fresh coconut ice cream served in a coconut shell.
Tip: Top with peanuts or sticky rice for extra texture.
Dance at live-music stages:
Enjoy free local bands playing near the food court.
Tip: Let kids dance at the edge of the stage while you rest on nearby benches.
Ride the Ferris wheel:
Get a bird’s-eye view of the market at sunset.
Tip: Check height rules first and ride early to avoid long lines.
Souvenir treasure hunt:
Browse small handicrafts, toys and batik sarongs.
Tip: Let each child pick one item under 200 THB to stay within budget.

Nice place to shop for handbags, shoes n clothes. I love the foods here. Varieties Thai local food n it’s yummy.

Decent night market with lots of stalls, a couple music venues as well as a large street food section. Enjoyed the vibe and food as we wondered around

The food selection isn’t particularly impressive. Although the market itself is quite large, most of the stalls offer the same items you can find in many other places. It’s still a nice spot to walk around and experience the atmosphere, but if you’re looking for unique or exceptional food options, this market may not stand out.

Large market with lots of options. Dive deep into the markets to find the food stalls as there are many not just the few you pass on the entrance. Clothing, Bags, Toys, Sunglasses, Bags & Footware. If you go deep enough you will also find live snakes and dogs for sale

Honestly it’s one of my favorite markers in all of Thailand. Absolutely huge, has food clothes bags shoes trinkets all kinds of souvenirs you’d want. There’s live music often and also lots of locals come too. Overall I would come back and had a really good experience while here.
Rainy season (May–Oct): carry lightweight ponchos and visit later evening to avoid showers. Dry season (Nov–Apr): come after 8 pm for cooler temperatures and all food stalls open.
