What makes it 80% Kids-Friendly: Children 4-12 get discounted tickets, can chop food, splash in mud and learn elephant care, making the visit fun and educational, but no playground or life-vests means close parental watch is vital.
Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for the Elephant Care Program (3h), round-trip transfer, and changing clothes.
Elephant Care Program:
Spend 3 hours learning Karen elephant traditions: prepare and feed fruit, guide elephants in the forest, enjoy a mud spa, and bathe them.
Tip: Wear quick-dry clothes; bring a towel, change of clothes, and sunscreen.
Feed & Shower Program:
In 1.3 hours learn basic elephant care, feed seasonal fruits, scrub elephants with mud clay, and bathe them under a rainfall-style shower.
Tip: Ideal for younger kids; pack swimsuits and light clothing to get wet.

Wonderful family friendly experience! Elephants of all ages and sizes. Fluk was hilarious. Be prepared to get wet when showering the elephants. Change of clothes recommended.

We booked the elephant half day tour through an app and it was at this reserve. It is pretty close to phuket center. The have a family of elephants with the youngest just 1 year old. Our guide explained to us about elephants and how they are raised. We then made a souvenir napkin and then went to feed the elephants. We then walked with them in the forest and took plenty of pictures. Finally, we ba...

Very fun, it was raining so the elephants are having a good time with us! FYI: Elephant loves raining season. They are more playful. Staff members here are very good at handling the elephants and accommodating our needs and questions. From what we can see, they are treated well and love staying there.

Loved this place for caring about elephants and offering those fun tours where we fed and washed elephants. We were given instructions on what to do and what not, and had a great time interacting with these wonderful animals. Washing them with brushes was a special experience for sure, they enjoyed it! Be sure to wear a swim suit for this activity - you will be all wet!

There are so many things to do here other than feeding the elephants. Y'all actually have to come here, I really recommend going here. 🐘🐘🐘 (The elephants are actually really friendly, i made friends with them, w...
In Phuket’s hot season (Mar–May), book morning tours to avoid heat. In rainy season (May–Oct), bring a light raincoat and expect muddier terrain.
