What makes it 60% Baby-Friendly: Babies can be strolled on flat sand and splash in calm shallows, and nearby resorts rent cots and strollers, but beach toilets lack changing tables and natural shade is scarce, so parents must pack gear.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: A short beach visit lets parents enjoy sand play and paddling while keeping baby happy.
Stroller-friendly beach walk:
Walk on the long, flat sand from Laguna access points.
Tip: Start at sunrise or late afternoon to avoid heat; clean sand by the resort paths is easier for wheels.
Shallow water paddling:
Let baby splash in the calm, shallow water at the north end.
Tip: Visit mid-morning when water is calm and lifeguards may be present; bring swim diapers.
Lazy Coconut day pass:
Enjoy pool and beach facilities with baby-friendly furniture.
Tip: Book the 3,000 THB pass in advance; includes food credit and shaded sunbeds near the kids’ pool.

Our kids learned how to surf here — amazing people, great vibes, and the best local experience. Dad enjoyed an ice-cold and affordable beer while watching them surf. Friendly locals, fresh coconuts, soft drinks, and unbeatable prices — the perfect beach spot for families and surfers alike. Highly recommended — go check it out!

Visited Bang Tao Beach in September during the off-season. The area was peaceful with fewer crowds, but there wasn’t much happening around. The weather was unpredictable with occasional rain, and the sea wasn’t at its best — not the clear blue with white sands you usually see in photos. Still, it’s a nice spot for a quiet stroll and relaxation away from the busier beaches.

‼️‼️‼️🚩🚩🚩⚠️⚠️⚠️ A very dangerous beach. The sea currents can suddenly carry you into deep water. When the red flag is displayed, it's best not to enter the ocean because it's very dangerous!!!!!!.....⚠️⚠️⚠️🚩🚩🚩

One of the best beach in Phuket. Not busy like Patong and other famous beaches in Phuket like Karon. Beautiful sandy beach stretched. Rainy and dry season both are wonderful. If you want to stay in peaceful and little bit remote from busy tourist area, here is the one of the best place.

You can have a meal at any restaurant and use their sunbeds. Because we came in monsoon season the ocean is quite energetic and it's difficult to swim because of the waves. The temperature of the Ocean is amazing, so wa...
