You get what you pay for I guess? Don’t let the pictures or “4-star hotel” fool you. This is a 2 star motel at BEST and that’s me being generous Pros: short walk to Khao San Road, Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. 2 bottles of water dropped off every day Cons: just about everything else. 1. The room was old, dusty, and outdated and had a musty carpet with a weird stain. There were stains on the wall...

1st of all this is a very old hotel which was built back in 1942, surrounding very old palaces and temples. So everything over here is very old. Including rooms. Carpets not replaced for over 20+ years. Staff also consists of old ladies and gentleman. Front-desk staff and lady who is checking the breakfast tickets 🎫 not friendly at all. Outdated rooms and snelly. Rooms are ugly and dirty with old carpet. Would not recomend. Pool is small and on the ground floor in a courtyard. Demanded a 500 bhat deposit for the key which wasn’t disclosed on the booking. Bed was junky. Cheap hotel at a cheap price. Bad location for walking

Somehow I like it a lot cause this is my new experience here. Btw I have seen a great amount of beautiful temples here which I love the most 😘. Exotic experience.

The room, its decoration and bathroom were okay and clean, but a bit outdated though. The hotel is located just a short walk away to the Grand Palace, the ...
