How Baby-Friendly is The Erawan Museum?

Paths and elevator accept strollers and infants enter free, but no confirmed nursing room or change tables and gallery crowds make feeding, diapering and quiet nap time challenging, so plan ahead.

Considerations for visiting The Erawan Museum (with baby)

Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly access: Wide paths and elevator allow easy movement with a stroller.
  • Infant enters free: Children under 6 years old have no admission fee.

Challenges:

  • Limited baby facilities: No dedicated nursing room or changing tables; bring a portable mat.
  • Shoe removal inside: You must remove shoes to enter galleries; baby may need socks only.

Recommended visit duration: 1-3 hours

Why 1-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time to explore gardens, three museum levels, and take breaks with the baby.

This museum has total 5 areas. Below there is a small area where pottery and some artifacts from old things are kept. The primary attraction is a central dome which has large three-headed elephant. Internally it is divided into three floors. However, museum may not be completely correct characterization. I feel it is a temple cum artwork thing. Internal flooring is wooden so you have to remove s...

It is a very beautiful place. The entrance fee is 250 baht for Thai people. You can go inside respecting and you can go up to the top of the elephant. Inside is a museum. It is beautiful and magnificent.

The Erawan Museum is an absolutely stunning and peaceful place. Every corner is beautifully designed, full of intricate details and spiritual charm. A true cultural gem! A special thank you to the kind guard who was stationed at the temple on June 25. He was incredibly sweet to our son and went out of his way to offer a scarf to my wife since her dress was above the knee—such a thoughtful gesture...

We booked our tickets through the Klook app and honestly didn’t have many expectations — but the Erawan Shrine Museum turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a garden filled with impressive giant elephant statues that immediately catch your attention. Inside the shrine, there’s even more to explore, with intricate details and spiritual touches that make t...

The park is lovely, lots of greens and unique statues. You also have to be mindful of the dress code when entering the temple. It has a beautiful interior. There are museums located on the basement and attic. The cafe and restaurant also served good food. The gift shop has affordable items and are not too overpriced.
