Kids under 12 enter free and may like colorful sculptures and occasional art workshops, but galleries forbid touching, lack interactive zones, and parents must supervise constantly.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time to explore galleries, outdoor sculpture garden, and café breaks at a relaxed pace for kids.
Interactive Sculptures:
Spot colorful, large-scale sculptures and let kids imagine stories.
Tip: Use these artworks as backdrops for fun family photos; point out shapes and colors to engage young minds.
Outdoor Sculpture Garden:
Let kids run safely around the pond area among sculptures.
Tip: Bring bubbles or a small ball to play near the garden benches while parents watch.
Family Art Workshop:
Join occasional drop-in workshops designed for children.
Tip: Check MOCA’s website before your visit for current workshop dates and book spots early.
Sketch Favorite Artworks:
Grab paper and pencils to doodle inspired by exhibits.
Tip: Use benches in each gallery; bring A4-sized sketchbooks and pencils only.
Café Snack Break:
Recharge at MOCA Café with kid-friendly snacks and drinks.
Tip: Order iced chocolate or fruit smoothies and share a pastry for a mid-visit energy boost.

Wonderful!! I particularly enjoyed the new show of art by the young artists with Downs Syndrome. So much joy and colour. This gallery is definitely worth a visit despite being quite far from the city. The Buddhist art was spectacular.

Modern, Inspiring, Diverse! We visited MOCA on our last day in Bangkok, and it turned out to be the perfect way to spend the afternoon. The museum itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and well laid out, making it easy to enjoy at a relaxed pace. The collection is diverse, with a mix of Thai and international artists, and a blend of both contemporary and traditional influences. It gives you a...

Ok, it's fine, but there many other people with small bags. They forced us to leave at ...

What a great art museum! Not huge, but a well-curated collection with diverse themes and mediums. Spent a very enjoyable 2 hours here. The works by Thai artists in particular was very impressive - my mind was just blown away by the creativity and imagination on display, as well as the incredible technical skill and talent. Not forgetting the architecture and decor of the museum itself. Highly reco...

An impressive museum with beautiful hand painted pictures. I was fascinated by the colours and details of each painting. The history and description behind of each art was great. Loved the air-conditioned, calm and quite place. Last level with modern art was very uninteresting. A tiny bit far away from the city centre but recommendable!
