Bahnhofstrasse (couple trip)

Definitely a great (and crowded) street to see. It's the main shopping avenue of the city - the Mariahilfer Straße of Zürich I say (as a long-time Vienna resident). I really only bought a souvenir at one of these shops here and then went into the Old Town. Man, what a beauty. I miss Zürich.

A main street outside of Zurich HB train hub where shops, department stores lined up on both sides. There is a tram line running along the street. Within a walking distance radius of 30-45 minutes, there are several landmarks of churches, museums, brand-name stores, parks/playgrounds, several bridges crossing rivers.

Beautiful and there are several luxury shops where prices are very high.

Considered one of the most expensive retail streets in the world we decided to have a look not long after arriving in Zurich. After deciding against a 2 grand backpack we strolled around before making a sharp exit. Well worth a visit. And if you have money you burn and would rather spend it on extravagant purchases than helping people then this is the place for you.

Nice to walk along the street with all high end brands, top tier private banks, chocolate and accessory shops. Of course lots of restaurants and bars too!
