Petit Hotel (couple trip)

The place is in a very nice quarter of the city, easy to find and a simple, short walk to public transportation stations like the metro or buses. We choose to mostly walk to any of our destinations, but it was nice to know we had a metro station near by. For our 3 nights stay, this was the perfect place! Cyclists beware. There is nowhere to store a bike at this hotel and they charge 12.50 euros per bike per night to store them in your room. The rooms are already small so not only is this inconvenient but is also highway robbery. I have stayed in numerous hotels across Europe and have never before been charged for a bike, whether it was in my room or not.

Genuinely friendly, helpful and flexible. Nice rooms and slept well. Good value for Barcelona, and used as base to explore the city.

Editing my review after hotel owner took the liberty to contact me about it. Hotel location is 5 stars (reason for my visit was going to the barraquer oftalmologic center which is right across the street so it's really convenient in my case); hotel staff also 5 stars, reception guy was super kind and friendly and willing to help in everything!!
