How Baby-Friendly is Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus?

58%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 58% Baby-Friendly: Parents with a baby may roll a stroller via the lift and enjoy the view, yet crypt stairs, no confirmed changing tables and echoing spaces make feeds, diaper work and crying harder to handle.

Positives:

  • Easy stroller access: Wide elevator doors and priority boarding make it simple with a pram.
  • Quiet feeding spots: Crypt corners and café benches offer calm areas for nursing or bottle breaks.

Challenges:

  • No dedicated baby-care rooms: Changing tables and nursing rooms aren’t confirmed—call ahead to check.
  • Steep steps in lower crypt: The crypt has stairs; bring a carrier if you plan to visit that level.

Gorgeous architecture both inside and outside. You can go up the side for free, and pay €5 for the elevator up to the top. At the top, there are stairs to keep going up to the tallest point in Barcelona. Absolutely stunning views, I thoroughly enjoyed.

This is the highest point in Barcelona. That is why it is worth visiting this place. We decided to go up to the cathedral by funicular. To do this, we took the V15 bus to pl. Kennedy. According to Google maps, there should be a funicular (or tram) from there, but there are rails there, but no cars. Instead, there are two buses: 196 and another one, which replaced the funicular. The bus took us to ...

Beautiful basilica with incredible views over Barcelona! You can reach it by funicular or bus, but hiking up takes about an hour and is totally worth it. The church itself is stunning inside and out, and going up to the top gives you amazing 360° views of the whole city. A must-visit when in Barcelona!

Love this place, definitely pay the 5 euro to take the elevator up to the terrace. The terrace is beautiful with amazing views of Barcelona, and the surrounding area. It’s only a few more flights of stairs to reach the top of the tower for even better views. The church is at the top of Mr Tibidabo, it’s easy to reach via funicular or by driving up the windy roads. Last to I was here I rented a sco...
