How Baby-Friendly is Palau Sant Jordi?

What makes it 62% Baby-Friendly: Babies are admitted and parents get changing tables, bottle-warming and stroller storage, yet high volume, limited quiet feeding areas and evacuation stairs make visits moderately challenging.

Positives:

  • Easy stroller access: Wide ramps and smooth surfaces make moving a stroller simple.
  • Free baby facilities: Changing tables and bottle warmers cost nothing and are in all restrooms.

Challenges:

  • No nursing room: Ask staff for a quiet corner since there’s no dedicated feeding lounge.
  • Loud events not baby-friendly: Avoid concerts or sports with high volume to keep your baby comfortable.

We went to Barcelona to see Jamiroquai play their first European show of the new tour. The venue is on top of a small mountain. You can reach the top by car, but from the Plaça d’Espanya you can walk to a series of escalators that help you reach the summit in about 20 minutes. Upon leaving the venue, they restrict traffic to downhill only, so catching a cab or Uber is relatively impossible. The fe...

We had the most amazing experience at Lady Gaga's MAYHEM Ball here. The Arena is in a beautiful part of the city, entry was easy and organized.

I saw Lady Gaga here on 29/10/2025. The concert was amazing, and once inside the layout was good. But the organisation by the venue was an absolute disaster. The queue outside was over an hour long with no staff around to provide guidance on what to do or where to go. We weren't even sure if we were in the right queue, but there was no staff around to ask. Once we finally got inside the gates, it ...

An impressive and beautiful hall, very easy to get to, has excellent visibility of the stage (we were at the concert). The downside is the small number of buffets, which creates abnormal queues to buy drinks and something to eat. We gave up and it's a loss only for them. There are enough toilets. It's a shame there's no metro nearby. You have to walk at least fifteen minutes to get to the metro.

Great Arena, but Disappointing Sound Quality. We attended the Juan Luis Guerra concert this weekend, and the arena itself was very nice. The organization was smooth and well-managed, which made the experience pleasant overall. However, the most important part of any concert – the sound – was quite disappointing. We were seated on the side, near the stage, but the audio seemed to come only from th...
