What makes it 81% Kids-Friendly: Kids enter free and receive AR tablets that animate the house, but fragile interiors, narrow walkways, and no play zones demand close parental supervision and may tire children after 90 minutes.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for the self-guided tour, rooftop visit and breaks for kids without rushing.
Dragon-scale Roof:
Walk on the rooftop and spot the colorful ceramic tiles resembling dragon scales.
Tip: Go early to avoid crowds and let kids count scale colors.
Augmented Reality Tour:
Use the free AR tablet to see Gaudí’s designs come to life in each room.
Tip: Collect the tablet at the entrance and plug in headphones for better focus.
Mosaic Facade:
Admire the undulating exterior covered in broken tile mosaics.
Tip: Stand back on Passeig de Gràcia to frame the whole building for photos.
Spiral Staircase:
Climb the winding wooden stairs that mimic a sea wave.
Tip: Hold children’s hands on narrow steps and take breaks on landings.
Modernist Courtyard:
Explore the light-filled inner courtyard with bone-like columns.
Tip: Snap photos through the arched doorway for unique perspectives.

From the moment you arrive, the building’s facade grabs your attention – a surreal mix of bone-like balconies, mosaic tiles, and a dragon-scale roof that looks like it belongs in a fairytale. Inside, the experience becomes even more immersive. The flowing lines, natural light wells, and attention to detail in every corner show Gaudí’s genius not just as an architect, but as an artist deeply connec...

Absolutely loved it. It was like entering into a child's drawing book. Or really fun person's art sketchbook. There were so many people inside but it was managed smoothly. They even printed photos for us...something I cherish so dearly from today's visit to the house/museum. The Souvenir Shop was beyond tempting...wish I could've bought half of it!

Casa Batlló is a true testament to Antoni Gaudí's genius and creativity, showcasing his ability to blend architecture with nature and art. Located in the heart of Barcelona, this modernist masterpiece stands out with its vibrant colors, organic shapes, and intricate details that draw visitors in from the moment they arrive. One of the most striking features of Casa Batlló is its façade, adorned w...

Overpriced, due to bad organizing it gets overcrowded, the house is mostly empty/ lacks furniture and exhibits. Tickets in advance are needed. We tried the Nigh Visit, at 20:30. Platinum/ gold/ silver tickets have priority entry with a few minutes pause between each person, while Bule ticket holders have to wait in line till that's finished.. even if its already passed the starting time. The huge...

We did the gold magical nights. It was absolutely amazing and I’m so glad we chose this over a day visit. The band was extremely impressive and so much fun. They engaged with the crowd well and great performers. The punch cocktails were amazing too. Highly recommend this experience it was a highlight of my Barcelona trip. Also if you want to impress a girl on a date surprise her with this one!
Summer brings high temperatures and queues. Visit in spring or autumn mornings for cooler weather and shorter lines.
