What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Babies ride free and halls are level for prams, but no published changing tables or nursing room forces diaper changes in regular toilets, so convenience is only moderate.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to see the main galleries, relax at the café, and take stroller breaks without rushing.
Royal Galley replica:
View the bright red full-size "John of Austria" galleon in the central hall.
Tip: Walk around its carved bow ornaments for photo moments and point out the giant oars to your baby.
Gunboat models and touch displays:
Explore scaled ship models and interactive pirate exhibit items.
Tip: Let your baby touch the smooth gun ports while you explain simple shapes and textures.
Espai Mirador:
Take the elevator up to the lookout platform at the end of the hall.
Tip: Use the seating area for a break and enjoy harbor views while baby naps in the stroller.
Jardins del Baluard:
Relax in the fortress gardens on first and third Sundays of each month.
Tip: Bring a blanket and let your baby crawl on the grass while you enjoy fresh air.
On-site café under Gothic vaults:
Grab snacks or a light meal in the museum restaurant.
Tip: Ask staff for a high chair and choose a corner table for privacy during feeding.

Not really into maritime museums but this was still really cool, it truly is mind blowing to see the the craftsmanship and attention to detail that was put into a vessel of that size so many years ago. Then everything else around the museum is just an added bonus.

The guards were already half-done with their shifts, leaning on the railings, lights dimming over ships that looked too proud to sleep. The place felt like a secret — arches of stone, wood gleaming under low lamps, the air thick with salt and stories. I walked slow, try...

Very cool place, with lots to see. I love that they don't whitewash history, or make light of the very real problems with the ship industry while encouraging discussion and also inspiring awe and learning. So much history of slavery with ships and even problem that persist to current days such as large ship scrapping.

Beautiful exhibits in a great setting. Half a star less because we were told that we can also visit Santa Eulalia in the harbour and it was not there (or we could not find it - October 16)
