Urban Place Gangnam (couple trip)

The only good thing I can say about the accommodation is the location, but as you can see in the photos, the walls were quite damp, there was mildew in the showers, and torn towels. My husband even got a plantar wart after using these showers. Horrible and disgusting.

Bathroom has mould issues, old standard "used toilet paper into bucket" system. At least good location. Ok for a night or two.

Been using this hotel many years. Great location but linen / towels & housekeeping quality is the lowest I’ve seen in no-star hotels. One pillow is sweat stain seen in college dorms and the ONE bath towel is stained with blood drops and other bodily fluid. Women’s hair on shower wall and toilet rim. This needs to be fixed as I really like the location and basic hotel.

The rooms need some refurbishing as mine, at least, was pretty grubby with wallpaper marks and scuffs etc. Also, the underground car park is VERY cramped and twisty so be careful with large vehicles, especially if another is coming the opposite direction. For the price i got the room for i think it's good value at a good location. I got it at just less than 100,000KRW. Basically the hotel is a furnished one room like a dormitory. So it has a kitchenette but no kitchenware. The bathroom gets flooded after a shower which is typical in a Korean home shower but i wouldn't expect it in a hotel.
