Infants are supported by stroller rentals, nursing and diaper-change rooms and flat lakeside paths, but the park’s large scale and weekend crowds can over-stimulate babies, so schedule shorter visits.
Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for zoo highlights, stroller breaks, lake walk and a train ride without rushing.
Stroller & electric wagon rental:
Rent a standard stroller or electric wagon near the main entrance for easy transport.
Tip: Arrive early; show ID and check weight limits to secure rental.
Nursing rooms & baby-change facilities:
Use free nursing rooms with diaper-changing tables, microwave and seating.
Tip: Located at the zoo entrance and inside MMCA Gwacheon; bring your own supplies.
Healing Forest & lake-front paths:
Stroll on wide, level trails through forest and along Gwacheon Lake.
Tip: Perfect for stroller naps; benches and shaded spots are spaced along the route.
Elephant-shaped train ride:
Enjoy a short train ride around park grounds from the Children’s Zoo area.
Tip: Check on-site if infants ride free; board and disembark together to reduce walking.

Went there on a holiday. The place was packed with people. We arrived around noon and the sun was at its peak. Be sure to wear sunblock, comfy shoes, and bring a water bottle. Our main goal was to visit the Rose Garden. Upon entering the park, walk straight and turn right. The entrance fee is 2,000 won.

Its a great place to visit with kids, family, friends or anyone. If you have enough time get combo package of sky lift pass+zooentry etc.

Nice place, we didn't see much of the animals I guess because of the cold weather they were under shelter. Overall was still a good experience.

A huge, beautiful park in between mountains. It is well kept, clean and easy to roam. There is a lake inside and creates a lovely view with the autumn foliage around it. The park is free but the theme garden needs tickets - 2000 won. I recommend it. There is also cable car across the park.

The park is huge, it was a bit confusing on where to go or even start as there is a zoo but couldn’t see all the animals to be honest. Best part about the experience is the sky lift
