Kids can build castles, wade in calm shallows, and try beginner surf lessons, yet no lifeguards, playground, or shaded play areas mean vigilant supervision and sun gear are essential.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A visit lasting 2-3 hours lets families build sandcastles, explore tide pools, and relax at a café without rushing.
Sandcastle Building:
Use the soft white sand to build forts and castles with your children.

Clear Kayak Rental:
Paddle together in a transparent kayak for a unique view of the seabed.
Tip: Reserve an hour in advance in summer; life jackets are provided for kids.
Beachfront Café Stop:
Enjoy local snacks and mandarin juice at seaside cafés.
Tip: Choose shaded terraces and arrive before peak times to get seating for four.

For Jeju, this is a nice beach. Light colored sand, clean. There are also a bunch of quirkily laid out small buildings which are mostly cafes, some are convenience stores. Don’t expect a beach of the likes you’ll find in Indonesia or Thailand, otherwise you’ll be disappointed. The beach is fake here. Sand is trucked in, waves are very small. But hey, you are in Jeju, what do you expect.

The sand is nice + the view. You find many benches and tables along it, so we had a small breakfast with things we bought from the convenience store next to it.
