Boardwalks fit strollers and toilets allow quick changes, yet there is no nursing room, limited shade unless you pay, and surf noise can upset babies during long stays.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows playtime on the beach, stroller stroll, and breaks without tiring your baby.
Sand play on multicolored beach:
Help your baby explore the soft black, white, red, and gray sands.
Tip: Bring a small bucket and spade; shade the play area with a pop-up tent.
Stroll on coastal wooden deck:
The flat boardwalk is stroller-friendly and offers cliff views.
Tip: Start at the parking lot end to avoid crowds and find seating benches.
Use baby-friendly facilities:
Make use of free toilets, changing rooms, and cold-water showers.
Tip: Stop by the beach office for a map of toilets and showers locations.

In summer (mid-June to August), lifeguards guard a roped play zone—arrive early. Spring brings coastal flowers near the cliffs. In colder months, pack windproof clothes and expect fewer vendors.

Beautiful beach with a peaceful atmosphere. There was a warning sign for jellyfish, but it didn’t take away from the experience. It’s a relatively small beach for walking along the coast, but the size and location felt just right. I’d love to go back and reconnect with nature anytime. I already miss it!

Very pretty beach with great views, plenty of parking, came from the parking lot slightly east. Great place to take a longer stroll, since there are trails that connect from some of the resorts in the area which are readily accessible. Showers, lifeguards, restrooms all around as well. You can enjoy the ocean, catch some waves and sun, then grab some food, great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

4.5/5 stars. It’s a pretty and small beach. Came in Oct so it wasn’t crowded. I grew up driving to Malibu beach in California regularly on the weekends, so this beach is not as impressive, but still has a nice vibe. Pictures turned out pretty with the palm trees and cliffs.

Nice beach and great views. The beach has toilets which were relatively clean and maintained. There are a couple of shops near the entrance including a GS25. The beach is not the best for swimming as the waves are pretty aggressive, but it is just perfect for surfing a bit.

Great place! Big beach, great view, few people (we were there in early September). In the afternoon the waves come and you can surf. There are posters at the entrance to the beach that you can't swim because there are no lifeguards, but no one pays attention to it.
