Babies enter free, elevators and stroller-wide aisles aid movement, and a nursing room exists, yet no baby play corner means parents may finish quickly if fussiness starts.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to see exhibits and let your baby rest in play area without rush
Explore Exhibition Halls:
Walk through three floors showing Haenyeo daily life, tools, and history
Tip: Use the elevator and wide corridors to move with your stroller smoothly
Children’s Experience Center:

Tip: Visit early to avoid crowds and help your baby focus on sensory activities
Observation Deck:
Circular deck on the third floor with sea views over Hado-ri
Tip: Bring a light jacket; it can be windy on the deck even in spring

In summer, the museum stays cool indoors but bring sun protection for the outdoor sculptures. In winter, wear warm layers on the breezy observation deck.

Super interesting and very worth a visit. Make sure you see the video so you have a full understanding and you will not be sorry. Such an amazing group of women - truly fascinating.

I enjoyed our visit here. The museum was nicely laid out, with good explanations and with interesting exhibits. I learned a lot. Before the 1970´s they dived in thin cotton outfits, which is just nuts to see. It’s amazing how these women lived. Please come and support this museum. There is a refillable water purifying station too- just lovely! ☺️

Learning about the Haenyeo was so interesting. Great respect for them and their part in Korean history. Also enjoyed watching their live demonstration. Amazing women.

Fascinating museum about the Haenyeo, amazing women. We particularly liked the videos of the interviews with the women, what lives they led! Would definitely recommend visiting their restaurant down the coast while in this area of the Island.

Must see when you visit Jeju. Gives you a whole new perspective. Really well designed museum, you can hear real stories here. Highly recommend. The entrance fee is very low, you might spend here about 1 hour.
