Children can splash in the musical fountain, pick cheap toys at Daiso and grab snacks, but long walking distances, traffic on side roads and scarce playgrounds limit all-day appeal.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Gives time for fountain play, snacks, shopping, and a meal without rushing.
Musical fountain play:
Kids can splash in the shallow fountain plaza along Shanchuan River.
Tip: Bring a change of clothes and supervise children at all times.
Street snack tasting:
Try fish-cake skewers, corn dogs or Hallabong ice cream from local vendors.
Tip: Buy snacks between 2–4 PM when stalls are busiest to get the freshest bites.
Daiso toy hunt:
Let kids pick small crafts and games at the 1,000-won store.
Tip: Head there early to find the newest items before the crowd builds.
Casual family meal:
Choose from pork-cutlet or pizza restaurants with kid-friendly menus.
Tip: Check menus posted outside to confirm kid portions and set prices.

Nice shopping street, clean and safe. The area is not too big although we still can find some international brands like new era, MLB, Nike, new balance, adidas, carhartt and many more.

Visited on a Monday PM. Lacklustre experience, can't compare with Seoul's Myeongdong. Alot of units are vacant. Not really best prices either, and can't find any food outlets. Not worth a visit unless you are nearby.

The shopping town was deserted when we arrived, arround 11am. Many shops were still closed, maybe this place is active at night. Many options to choose from if you are to buy clothes.

Good vibe for walking with your love one😘💖 I came on mid December, nice weather around 6°c - 10°c, not cold too much. Enjoy to walk. But I came on tuesday, feel a bit lonely evenif after the working time, no crowded people like in the other city.
