Haeundae Hound Signature Hotel (solo trip)

Nice hotel. Some part of the rooms, notably the wall paper when entering was coming of, seems like it should be slightly renovated. Pool on roof is nice but quite small. Location is about 2 min walk to Main Street, 5 min til beach so quite good.

Our first room was dirty, so we got another one - that was just as dirty. Dirty floors, dirty mirrors, dirty windows, and let’s of left hair.. So we had to move to a room without a balcony to get a room without other people hair all over.. Did it then end well? Not really. The room we ended up with is dark and the air vent seems to be connected in a way that cigarette smoke is blown into the room....

I don’t think they cleaned the room before we check in with the amount of hair I see on bedsheets and pillows. Bedsheet and blanket were also stained with some food sauce I guess. I hope they pay more attention to cleanliness. Staffs were helpful.

Great price, good location, and friendly service. Unfortunately I visited in the winter so the pool and rooftop cafe was closed. The room was nice for the price but the AC didn’t work and there was a moderate amount of construction/city noise outside with the balcony door open. Would stay here again.

The pool on the roof speaks for itself. The room was spacious, the bath and toilet separate, and the service was great. Very important, the bed was semi-soft, not hard like most places in Korea. For the price staying here is worth the value. The location was 2 blocks from the main street and 2 blocks from the beach. Parking available. AC worked well.
