A twilight stroll over illuminated glass panels and lighthouse views feels romantic and costs nothing, yet the short route and open exposure limit privacy and may feel less special when weekend crowds surge.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Couples can stroll the skywalk, ride the cable car, and relax on the rooftop without rushing.
Sunset Skywalk Stroll:
Walk the 365 m glass-bottom trail from Songdo Beach to the lighthouse.
Tip: Start 30 minutes before sunset for golden-hour light and fewer crowds.
Crystal Cruise Cable Car:
Ride in a transparent-floor cabin over the sea.
Tip: Book online in advance to skip the weekend queue.
Bay Harbor Rooftop Garden:
Enjoy quiet ocean views from the 4th-floor deck at Songdo Bay Station.
Tip: Visit right after the skywalk to catch views of Namhang Bridge and Yeongdo Island.
Love Lock Wall:
Purchase a padlock, engrave your names, and hang it as a couple.
Tip: Get the discounted padlock price (₩10 000) with your cable car ticket.

In winter, strong sea breezes make it chilly—bring a windbreaker. Summer evenings glow after sunset; avoid rainy days for clear glass-floor views.

What's a beautiful place! You can see the Songdao gondola is running.

A peer and a scenic walking route along the beach. Beautiful views of the city and sea. It was incredibly windy when we were there. The beach is sandy so if you want to take off your shoes and slide your feet in - it’s a perfect spot.

Thought it would be bigger but still it’s nice

I considered it a beautiful place. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to walk on it due to it being closed because of weather conditions, but I’m glad I was able to see it though.

Super clean beach, full of history. There is an observatory deck at the end of the cloud walk. There's a cave with some information about this beach history. The gondola was built from a long time (1920 cmiiw). People are working out even at night. Nice place to walk your dog.
