How Baby-Friendly is Haneul Maru Observatory?

53%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 53% Baby-Friendly: Public toilets have diaper tables, yet no nursing room; uphill pushing and some stairs challenge strollers, so carriers work but shaded rest and baby-specific services are scarce.

Challenges:

  • No dedicated nursing room: There is no enclosed nursing room; breastfeed on shaded benches or in quiet corners.
  • Uphill route: The path to the observatory is uphill; use a baby carrier rather than rely on a stroller.

Don't miss out this hidden spot. It's probably the most accessible and closest viewing platform from the entrance. It offers an amazing view and if you're lucky, you might have only few tourists here because people often miss this place out. But you need to climb some stairs to get there so make sure it's ok for you.

The observation deck is a great start to the walk in the village! It has a heart and some angel wings you can use to create a cool photo and has a great view down into the valley. It’s worth exploring the cafes and other places you can see the view along here since there are other great spots, but it’s definitely a beautiful place to start!
