How Baby-Friendly is Haeundae Blueline Park?

What makes it 68% Baby-Friendly: Babies ride free and folded strollers are allowed on trains, but no listed nursing rooms, narrow capsule space, and bumpy boardwalk sections make visits moderately tough for carers.

Positives:

  • Free infant travel: Babies under 36 months ride both train and capsule free with paying adults.
  • Stroller access: You can bring a folded stroller on trains and capsules at no extra cost.

Challenges:

  • Limited nursing rooms: No dedicated nursing rooms are listed; use restrooms or ask staff for private space.
  • Uneven boardwalk: The coastal walking trail has uneven wooden boards and some closures—use a baby carrier instead of a stroller.

I had the same issue as others, my international credit card (from Australia) could not be used on their website to pre-purchase Sky Capsule tickets. The tip from another fellow traveller was to hop on the other end, at Cheongsapo Station, rather than Mipo. The likelihood of tourists starting there, would be less - and it was perfect! We were up early morning, and went straight to Cheongsapo Stat...

Who could resist? Hop into your own private mini train cabin and enjoy the views. We took the train towards Mipo station and it was a chilled (the other direction had long, uncomfortable queues). Definitely book your tickets in advance (we used Klook) and arrive a little early (ten minutes is fine).

Cute little sky capsule you could ride! The online booking system is not the best so if you can go to the ticket office and book it in advance on the date and time you want it would be better. One way ride took us about 20 minutes in total, starting at Mapo station. You get the whole car to yourself either as a couple or family. We then walk back along the track to get back to the starting line. T...

If you are in South Korea, and one place you have to visit, it is this.😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️ A magical ride through the hills, oceans, greenery with calm vibe all around. South Korea has beautifully developed its tourism industry. Just bliss.✅❤️🌊🌱🌴 But few important points you have to keep in mind while visiting the place. 1) There is huge rush of tourists all around so there is tremendous waiting ti...

Please come if you are thinking about it! Although some tourist attractions are beautiful for one moment or part of the experiance, I felt the Capsule Cars ride views were beautiful for the full journey. Some part of the path to see the city, some a smaller town, some going through tall forest like trees, but all keeping the ocean along the other side. As we could see the final station in view we...
