  • Stroller-Friendly Train: Foldable strollers fit in the aisle space when boarding; keep them folded on steps.

Challenges:

  • No Changing Tables: Stations lack diaper-change tables or nursing rooms; bring a portable mat and wipes.
  • Uneven Paths and Stairs: Some boardwalk sections and station entries have steps; use a baby carrier where needed.
  • Sky Capsule Access: Capsules have step-up entrances and no car seat support; not recommended for families with infants.

When I think of Haeundae in my childhood, its old landscape has disappeared into history, but the East Sea, which stretches from Haeundae through Cheongsapo to Gijang, is still beautiful. With charming attractions and walking paths along the railroad tracks, it is a popular hotspot recently visited by many tourists. Therefore, I recommend making a reservation if you want to ride the sightseeing tr...

Better than nothing but I would really recommand to buy tickets for the sky capsule. I didn't book the tickets in advance so we took the train but it is crowded, noisy, there is no place to seat for everybody... And I really recommend not to buy the go and back ticket, just take a one way ticket. The walk is short and really easy, many stops to make and many things to admire

This is a gimmicky tourist attraction. Do it if you want to cross off the bucket list (like we did) or to please your little kids. The little cars (which easily sell out, so book early) do not stop; you get on at one end and you get off at the other. The train (which we did) has multiple stops which allow you to explore some attractions along the way, including the very excellent Skywalks. However...

A very beautiful place in Busan. You can take the train ride along the coast. I wanted to try the small sky capsules, but they were fully booked. I arrived around 4 PM, and overall, I recommend taking the train only in one direction (preferably on the way back) and walking along the wooden deck trail in the other direction. The walk is about 3–4 km with great views of the coastline and different a...

Nice little abandoned railway turned into a tourist attraction. The ski capsule is lovely, a nice and relaxing trip in your own carriage, but make sure to book in advance. The normal train was packed, standing room only. Mipo has a nice food court next door with some delicious food and drinks, particularly the bakery. Gorgeous bread and pastries, probably the best in Busan!

When is the best time to visit Haeundae Blueline Park Train (Busan, South Korea)?

Summer (Jun–Aug): bring sun hats and water; expect more trains but larger crowds. Monsoon in July: check rain before you go. Autumn (Sep–Nov): mild weather and thinner crowds. Winter: dress warmly for strong sea winds on the skywalk.
