The tower offers cheap entry, quiet midday decks, VR telescopes, media art zones, and easy subway access, so a solo traveler gains rich views quickly, though the visit rarely fills more than an hour.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: You can visit the observatory, explore exhibits, and stroll Yongdusan Park without rushing.
Observation Deck:
Ride the elevator to the 118 m deck and circle the windows for city and port views.
Tip: Go at midday for fewer crowds and clear views. Bring your camera and use a wide-angle setting.
Interactive Media Exhibits:
Try AR/VR stations and projection rooms on lower floors to explore Busan landmarks.
Tip: Look for the VR telescope to zoom into the port. Allocate 15 minutes to explore these free exhibits.
Café at the Top:
Sip a coffee while gazing at Busan’s skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Tip: Order a latte (around 4,000 KRW) and grab a window seat. It’s quieter on weekdays.
Public Piano:
Play the piano on the deck for a unique musical backdrop to the view.
Tip: Visit before noon when the piano is free. Bring a small music book as a prop.
Souvenir Shop:
Browse Korean folk crafts like shell key rings, masks, and mini ceramics in the lobby.
Tip: Set a 5,000 KRW budget and pick light items for easy packing.

Great views of the city, we went at night instead of the day which I think is absolutely the better option. Entry is affordable, I think it was about 10,000w each but I may be wrong. Only giving it 4/5 and not 5/5 because the "fireworks" show is projected onto the glass windows which are quite textured and not the clearest. Especially if you want to take really good pictures. Other than that the s...

Busan Tower is such a nice place! You can play some fun games throughout the visit, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. In addition, you have an amazing view of all of Busan from the top. It’s a great spot to relax, take photos, and see the city from above. Worth a visit if you’re in Busan!

We came before sunset to also see the city lights after dark (obvious protip for doubling up on the breathtaking views). However it was frustrating to learn that you cannot go back up to the observation platf...

Great experience. Watching over Busan. Nice getting a special discount for elderly people like us. After buying a ticket you can get 10 percent off buying something in the cafe and snackbar.

This my second time to visit it. Still love it. I can see the whole view. I use Busan Visit Pass Big 3 to visit it. You can join the game and get a free gift.
