School-age children love the fast Sky Cruise elevator, safe glass bridge, and light media shows, while child tickets and family toilets help parents, yet perimeter glass and crowds demand close supervision.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for the Sky Cruise, glass deck, photo zones, snack break, and souvenir visit without rushing.
Sky Cruise Elevator Ride:
Feel the high-speed ascent from 1st to 100th floor like a floating hot-air balloon.
Tip: Hold young kids by the hand and point out landmarks as you rise.
Glass Deck Observation:
Stand on the transparent floor to view Haeundae Beach and the sea far below.
Tip: Carry gloves in winter; the glass can feel cold underfoot.
X the Photo Zones:
Capture family memories against the ocean and city backdrops on the 100th floor.
Tip: Visit early to claim the best spots before crowds gather.
Open-Top Sky Garden:
Let kids run and breathe fresh air in the small rooftop garden on the 99th floor.
Tip: Watch for wind; keep toddlers close near ledges.
X the Gift Souvenir Shop:
Choose keychains, postcards, and sea-themed toys to remember your visit.
Tip: Exchange a few coins for small mementos; kids love choosing their own keepsakes.

BUSAN X the SKY offers an amazing view! It’s a great experience, even if the ticket is a bit pricey. It’s better to book online, cheaper and easier. Inside, there are nice cafes and a small, interesting museum to explore.

Busan X the Sky is a place where you would want to visit for a good bird eye view of the city. It is recommended to purchase tickets. The only downside would be the glass of the place and the Shocking Bridge could be rather unclear during the view. Compared to the Viewpoint at Gold Coast in Australia which I last visited, where all glass are clean and clear for viewing.

I visited Busan X the SKY last weekend. The view from the observatory on the 100th floor was amazing. There are some glass floors on the 100th floor, and you can see the ground directly through the floor. It was a bit scare. There is the 'STARBUCKS' on the 99th floor of the building and the highest one in the world. Many visitors enjoyed taking pictures and selfies. I recommend you make a reservat...

Amazing vantage point to observe all of Busan skyline. The shocking bridge is not for the faint hearted. Not too crowded and a nice way to enjoy Haeundae. They have a lovely souvenir shop and an art installation worth seeing.

Busan X Sky observatory is nothing special, a little small compared to the other observatory I been too. Cute little spot to rest. Seating area in floor 98 with Starbucks to sit and enjoy the view.
