Tropicana Suites (couple trip)

We have been staying in this hotel for over 40 years,it's our home away from home.My family from the US and my family from Australia always stay here everytime we come to visit our relatives in Ilocos Norte.The management and Staff are courteous,always good service,comfortable rooms,Kitchenet good,balcony is handy to hang washings.Overall ratings 5/5

Had a 7 night stay at Tropicana Suites before heading to one of the islands for 2 weeks. This is the second stay here having stayed here in November 2023. Everything was as good as it was the first time. Food service, great cleaning, comfortable rooms and good value. Also in the heart of Malate. Already booked to come back again for another 14 days after retuning from the island trip

Upon check in, we are two families checking into two rooms, we had to squish two families in one room due to the organisation saying there’s an electrical fault in a room. Very inconvenient considering we just come off 13 hours of flights and a ride off the bus from the airport. (They did discount the night rate) but still uncomfortable. The rooms are spacious, but in my opinion, they're too dark because the wrong (yellow) lights are installed. The building is showing its age, but everything works as it should. The food in the restaurant is good and the prices are completely reasonable. The location is also good, with shopping and many restaurants, etc., all within walking distance. I will definitely book again.
