Swiss-Belresort and Villas Coronet Peak (solo trip)

Facilities- The washing room doesn’t work well dryer is horrible doesn’t work, heater in room are bad can’t heat the room, the roof leaks and is very old, room always feels cold and wet. Included Breakfast- doesn’t include a hot breakfast or coffee have to pay extra. Bathroom- The sink was mouldy and the water stunk. Only positive they clean the room everyday, and have good service and staff

Cold rooms ...heater automatically turns off. Noisy neighbours the rooms have almost no sound insulation. No elevator had to drag luggage up the stairs! Breakfast is not worth more than 5 dollars . Coffee was the worst I've had in New Zealand. Cold bacon . Terrible hotel avoid it like the plague. Needs total renovation.

Our stay at Swiss-Belresort Hotel was unfortunately disappointing. When we arrived, we found that the bathroom curtain was mouldy, making it impossible to take a proper bath. There was also no working phone connection in the room, so we couldn’t even contact the front desk or housekeeping to report the issue. Excellent spacious rooms, nice and clean and not far from the city center Few nearby restaurants making it very walkable for a quick bite or order takeaway for a night in.
