Novotel Queenstown Lakeside (solo trip)

Staff were very accommodating to our needs esp with 2 toddlers in board. Location was superb - near to restaurants, Queenstown garden, and the lake. Only comment was the cleaning carts were on our corridor / front of room most of our stay. Stayed here many times over last 20 years, food is decent though can be inconsistent if ordering the same meal. Rooms are outdated but provide comfortable bedding arrangements, which is very important. LOVE, love, love this place. Family visited for a few days and we loved our experience here. The service from front desk staffs, kitchen staffs and cleaning staffs was beyond excellent. Excellent location and reasonable rooms. Customer service in restaurant & bar was not always great, inconsistent and slow. Front desk staff were brilliant and friendly. Overall it served our purpose for a family holiday and we will return as it’s a great base in Queenstown.

Great location and service. Room is a bit dated but suitable, beds are comfortable and cosy. Our room has a small balcony looking into a courtyard that opens up and a walking access towards the street and lake.
