Board the cable car for a 10-minute journey with Lake Wakatipu views.
Tip: Fold or leave stroller at the base and hold your baby on your lap free of charge.
Market Kitchen Café Stop:
Enjoy coffee, snacks and lake views in a pram-friendly café.
Tip: Use high chairs and nearby baby-change tables before or after your break.

The luge was super fun and I would highly recommend. Giving it four stars instead of five because the admission price was expensive and I was expecting more opportunities to catch a view of Queenstown and take impressive photos. The lookout area was very small and mostly shaded. There was a line in the one well lit area to take photos.

A nice place to go and see the surrounding Queenstown and the scenery of the area. Breathtaking view from the observation deck. Don't miss out and forget to take pictures. Skyline also have the Luge ride for children and adults alike. Word of warning. It is addictive and a thrill. Make sure to buy enough rides for the Luge at the bottom of the Skyline as additional rides are costly to add on late...

The gondola and luge are what make this place a must do in Queenstown! But if I did it again, I would skip the buffet. Nothing was very tasty except the salad bar and meat. Although the ice cream was delicious! But maybe it would’ve been better at lunch instead of dinner where the view disappears. The luge is so fun!

Great time. Kids had a blast. Family group price was pretty good for the experience. A bit of a wait for luge rides. Kids 10 and 13 will fine on own down the luge. Cafe at top. Super clear views. Parking is a real challenge, fine somewhere and walk to the bottom

The gondola was a quick ride but gives amazing views of Queenstown. Glad we did this. They are currently renovating, so a lot of construction going. They have a souvenir shop at the top with the same prices downtown, a cafe, and a restaurant. Photos are free to download with your tickets. 1 photo before you take the gondola and 1 more at the viewing deck. If you want hard copies, there's a fee. Ta...
In winter (Jun–Aug), dress baby in warm layers and a wind-proof jacket. In summer (Dec–Feb), bring sunhat, sunscreen and a light blanket. Off-peak times mid-week are quieter.
