Spent 3 hours here to admire the huge pine trees and spring flowers, especially the cherry blossoms. The lakeside views were amazing in a sunny Sunday.

Beautiful and easy walk. I did this first thing in the morning to watch the sunrise and it was stunning. Well maintained trails and some big gorgeous trees. There’s a lot of activities, like bowling, tennis, skating and frisbee golf. I didn’t partake in any but it’s awesome that it’s there. It’s a quick walk and the gardens, landscape, and views are worth it!

When is the best time to visit Queenstown Gardens (Queenstown, New Zealand)?

Spring: watch for freshly bloomed roses and bees. Summer: use hats and apply sunscreen by the lake. Autumn: pack light jackets for cooler breezes. Winter: layer up for ice-skating and bring gloves.
