My husband and I signed up for the Routeburn full-day canyoning in late November. Unfortunately we were only able to complete the half-day queenstown canyoning tour due to water levels being too high. We were warned of this possibility ahead of time, but told there was no way to know if it would be feasible until the group got all the way out there (meaning driving to the equipment base, getting a...

This was truly one of the greatest adventure experiences I've ever done! The guides were knowledgeable and also great to chat with. Don't let the cold water deter you - they layer you up! It's a gorgeous view throughout the entire experience. The price is FANTASTIC for what you get with Canyon Explorers. Thank you!

The tour guides Lorna, Jay, and Shaun were great and made the day so fun. We did the half day and had the most fun we have had all trip. Even though some of us were terrified of heights the guides made us safe and easy while encouraging us the whole way. Super awesome time and the guides were awesome and super friendly.

It’s a pretty intense experience because the water was high and cold and everything, so just know it takes a lot of energy, but please do it! It was beautiful and exhilarating, and the guides made it such a great experien...

What a fabulous adventure! We had such a great day with our excellent guides Meg and Jay. Couldn’t have picked better weather despite being the last day of the season - the freezing temperatures were actually not as bad as it would seem thanks to the great gear they provided. The route was easily manageable but still adventurous and exhilarating. Thanks for an awesome day, guys!
