Wyndham Garden Christchurch Kilmore Street (with baby)

Basic rooms with hard bed, housekeeping every 3 days (not disclosed in their sales blurb), only 4 small milks (for 3 days), unwelcoming reception who can't tell you what the paid street parking area code is, incomplete cutlery (not sets and no teaspoons), incomplete crockery. Disappointing and less than 3 star.

Stayed at Wyndham Garden Christchurch for 3 nights - lovely clean rooms with everything you could need. Rooms are stocked with coffee, sugar, tea etc, washing up soap, dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid, body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc. They are restocked and the towels changed every 3 days. Staff are lovely and helpful on reception and the cafe downstairs does great coffee.

Wonderful front desk service, nice environment, and convenient. But lack of cleanliness, a lot of hair that does not belong to us on the top of the bed quilt when we check in, and the cleanliness of the carpet is just so-so, in this case there are no disposable slippers in the room will be very inconvenient for customers, even cheaper hotels in Auckland still have them. Really a 4.5 star but they dint deserve a full 4 rating. Modern rooms, quiet, slightly out of the way but still only 10 min walk from the main area which is actually pretty appealing. Cafes nearby You have to pay for room cleans but hey, all good. Highly recommend it. Ultra comfortable beds

I stayed at Wyndham Garden Hotel for work and had a great experience. The location is ideal — just a short walk to the city centre, the casino, restaurants, pubs, and some really nice walking spots.
