Perfect location, close to everything including the bus interchange, heat pump in my room wasn't working which is why it's not 5 stars, but it came with a wall heater to use, overall good experience:)

There was no hot water so it was a cold shower for me. I noticed in 2024 on Trip Advisor the hotel management responded to a comment about no hot water saying it's something they are fixing. I don't think this is a good choice if travelling for business. The wifi is slow-to-crawling, I had to use phone data as a hotspot to email. Aircon doesn't stay on, so you have to keep getting up to keep the room at any kind of temperature. There's no on-site restaurant - that is to say there's a rooftop bar that isn't connected to the hotel. So there's no room service for a working dinner, and...

Stayed here ahead of an event. Room was nice, bed super comfy. Great view back to Port Hills. However, staff never alerted us that the water was being turned off early hours of the morning, only discovered when we got up to shower. Called to reception who then informed us that they had anticipated it being back on by 8am… it was now 8.30am. We ended up leaving at 9am seeking showers elsewhere. Poo...
