Sudima Christchurch City (couple trip)

The hotel is 4 star at best. When we checked in they didn't inform us about the self laundry service. They didn't ask if we need assistance with the luggage. The walls are thin, can hear voices from the corridor. They dont provide room slippers, had to ask. The rooms are small with low ceiling. There is only one tiny dustbin in the bath room Otherwise the rooms were clean and location was decent.

Nice clean modern hotel with nice people. Great breakfast in The Lane cafe / restaurant. Only demerit was the toilet paper - when your accountant tells you you can save money on the toilet paper don’t do it! No-one wants a cheap toilet paper incident do they? Parking quite expensive ($30 per night) so allow for this

Overall a great stay. Friendly and attentive staff in a welcoming modern venue. Comfortable quiet room was more than adequate for 2 nights. Perhaps a bit small for a longer stay but the kitchenette compensates for that. Good breakfast attended to by efficient cheerful staff, even on a busier day with a tour group.
