I had the compact double room booked for me for work for 2 nights because our other 2 preferred places to our location were booked up. The reception staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and everything seemed fine at first. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill. Fantastic location in the heart of the city, staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very tiny and the beds are ridiculously small, we had twin beds and they were SO narrow! I would not stay here again because of this. The place seemed very clean but the bathroom had a really bad smell, not sure whether from the drains or the heater. For what it was I thought it was too expensive too.

Stayed in the business double room with family for a night at the start of our NZ tour. Hotel is located close to the airport and was easy to find. Parking spot is available but needs to be reserved early. Many shops and restaurants at walkable distance. Beds were comfy and big. Quiet neighborhood so we all had good sleep after our long travel. Room had an attached kitchenette which was helpful.
