Riccarton Motor Lodge (solo trip)

Everything is perfect during my stay! Spacious, clean, comfy bed, cooling aircond, heated water, walking distance to town.

Sorry for the late review! I stayed here last November during my honeymoon, and everything was great. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious. There’s also a small pantry where you can cook simple meals. The location is convenient , not too far from Westfield Mall, and there are several nearby shops offering delicious Chinese food. Oh, and if you’re driving, they have parking available ...

We stayed for 2 nights with our kids was really nice had everything you need was nice to have sky tv and a tv in the bedroom what stood out the most was the shower 🚿 the water pressure was amazing we would love to come back if we need accommodation in Christchurch honestly A+ thanks 😊

Cramped Room and Extremely Rude Host Our room was so cramped that we could only sit on the bed. The stool was stuck in the narrow passage and couldn’t be pulled out conveniently. we could only open our carry-on suitcase on the kitchen floor and we would constantly trip over it. Good area, clean and tidy. Great bed. Only annoying thing was the fan going in the bathroom everytime someone went in. So middle of night fan would run if someone went to the loo. But only a minor thing still a nice place to stay. Was very quiet for our stay.
