Ibis Christchurch has everything you expect as a 4-star hotel. A clean, spacious room with adequate amenities. The bedding is of excellent quality with a choice of pillows. Flight delayed so Airnz put us up overnight. Reception was easy to sign in and out. Room lovely, water pressure in the shower was odd as temperature kept changing. I was dining solo at the resturant, was seated and 5 other tables came in after me had their orders taken first, so waited quite awhile to eat my small plates. Our stay was very disappointing. The room was extremely cramped — hardly any space to move around. The toilet exhaust was not working, making it uncomfortable. At check-in, we were told the hotel parking was full, and we had to pay extra for parking elsewhere. The breakfast was below average, and honestly, there are much better options available nearby through Airbnb. Overall, definitely not worth...

Pros: Great location - prime shopping/ dining area, soundproof rooms - couldn’t hear any noise from other guests, staff were friendly and let us check-in early. Cons: Room was small, with a portacot there wasn’t much room to move around and open bags. Parking not included and costly per night. Would I stay again? YES!

We recently stayed at your hotel and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience.
