Annabelle Court Motel (couple trip)

Stayed here one night whilst passing through Christchurch and wished I had not. Grotty little place with basic amenities and unfriendly staff. The room was cold and unwelcoming. The bathroom was cramped and basic. Definately not value for money.

Wonderfully clean and tidy motel in a great location. I was unsure about whether there would be a lot of traffic noise but it was amazingly quiet as the units are double glazed. Good kitchen facilities, and friendly staff. We would happily stay here whenever we are in Christchurch

Friendly staff, awesome location and relatively cheap. However quite a bit of problems with the room. The room is generally old. You can smell the fresh paint, which smelled a bit off as well. The water pressure was unstable, a bit scary. The shower door was old and broken. The bed wasn't that comfortable. We were pretty tired after a long drive - this did the job as it was close to the garden and...

We arrived in the rain, rang the reception bell and waited outside in the rain for attendant. We said who we were and paid the bill and got room key. Checked the receipt and have been overcharged a lot more than quoted, (for a bigger room and 2 extra nights worth). Went back and waited in rain again. Stayed 6 nights. The room was of a good size, very clean and well set out. Kitchenette was well set out and held everything you required to cook. Bed was comfortable / shower On my God was it decent. Plenty of parking so don’t worry there, with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance along with major shopping centre. Easy enjoyable walk into CBD
