Great facility in the middle of the downtown core. A little tough to find parking but when you do you get all access to fourth floors of information and entertainment! The family area on the first floor was full of things for kids to do. Highly recommended for a rainy day.

Great public library. Very bright, lots of charging spots and places to play chess, do jigsaw puzzles and work quietly. Has a coffee shop on the ground floor, coffee is good quality. I was a visitor to the city, and spent a few hours working; fast wifi and a very pleasant place to read and work.

Very well done library! The childrens area on the first floor is extensive and well designed! Be sure to check out the Church Registers on Level 2 and to get one of the book bundles which are curated by library staff!

Great library in the heart of the city. Plenty spots for kids and adults. Good cafe on the ground floor.
Tūranga is comfortable year-round. In summer, the rooftop gardens offer sunny spots for a stroller walk. In winter, stay indoors to enjoy heated floors and warm seating areas.
