Real Pity they didn't rebuild QEII pool with an olympic sized swimming pool, and kept the 2 hydroslides (they used to have 1 fast and 1 slow one), now they only have 1 and still same half size pool. No wave pool anymore, just a smaller "lazy river" and 2 small play pools. The hydrotherapy pool is great for doing physio, but there's no one there (or even advertising there) that you can book in with...

I was really impressed with how children friendly the whole place is. There are plenty of shallow areas for the little ones and lots of lifeguards around, which made me feel at ease. After all...

This place is amazing for children. The kid's waterpark and lazy river is awesome children don't get bored and could have hours of fun. Only thing I can fault is the wait time during school holidays due to a limit of people allowed inside at one time. Mind you only waited 15min before being able to go in.
Summer (Dec–Feb) brings peak crowds; visit early on weekdays. In winter, water stays warm but pack towels and wetsuits for kids.
