The park itself is in a great location close to the airport. This suited us as an overnight stop after flying back into Christchurch before tackling the long drive home to southland. This is a great last stopover for anyone who want to return their campervan back to the centres near the airport, as it’s only 6 minutes drive to the centres. And there’s a big petrol station just in front of the park to refuel your petrol, another 2.4km drive to Caltex to refill your LPG tank as well. As for Amenities like toilets, kitchen are decent.
